The complex nature of mental health is largely due to two things: we’re all unique, and mental health isn’t always visible from the outside looking in. Mental health issues aren’t even always apparent to the individual whose life they’re touching right now. So, what can you do when it seems like the issue is so complex there isn’t a clear place to start?
Trained psychologists, such as myself, work with people who are wrestling with this issue every single day. What we do is help you dive deep into who YOU truly are, layer by layer to identify the core issue and only then if you allow, we will work together to create coping mechanisms and build a ‘life’ toolkit that will help you navigate everything life sends your way.
Mental health doesn’t discriminate, which means if you’re struggling with any type of mental health issue or emotions as you read this, you’re definitely not alone. So many of us struggle with different things at different times, and yet it’s all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking you’re the only one who feels this way. The key is to find a way forward that works for YOU.
By working side by side with me, you can take positive action and start investing in your journey to rediscover the real you… and along the way, you will develop and use a range of strategies you will be able to call upon if you start to feel overwhelmed again.
I draw from a wide range of therapeutic interventions subject to the client’s needs, including CBT, Schema Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
